Noah loved all sports, but more than any other, he loved baseball.  His dedication prompted him to play catch and practice hitting all he could, including during the winter, even when he had to play by himself.  He was skilled at pitching, infield bases, and batting, but his favorite positions were pitcher and first base.  Noah was one of very few 10-year-olds who ever hit an over the fence home run at the Sherrod Complex.  He was skilled enough to hit a home run during an Anchorage tournament championship game.  Noah was selected as his Majors division team Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 2017.

Tragically, at 11 years old, Noah was killed in a vehicle accident in October 2017.  However, his spirit and enthusiasm affected many people throughout Palmer and Wasilla.  In addition to baseball, he was loved at church, school, Boy Scouts, his basketball and soccer teams, and more than anything else, by his family.

Our Majors team, The No Jo’s, is in honor of Noah. His number “17” was officially retired by Palmer Little League. The Majors field is named in his honor with all hats in the Majors division bearing his number.

Our hope is that his spirit and enthusiasm will continue to encourage players and volunteers and keep Palmer Little League a great asset for our Valley community.
